Project Description

Solenoid valve ZEW

  •     2/2     NC
  • indirect acting
  • piston-type valve
  • for proper operation require differential pressure (ΔPMIN= 0,8 bar)
  • applied in installations in which the water (liquid) flow is two-positions controlled, eg:
  • – industrial and home water installations
    –  irrigation systems
    – dosing and sanitary devices in the food industry, breweries, slaughterhouses
    – automated public baths
Fluid media Water, water solutions, non-aggressive liquids
Pressure See tab „Dimensions / Pressures”
Fluid media temperature max. +80°C
Ambient temperature -10°C ÷ +60°C
Voltage AC(50Hz) 12V, 24V, 110V, 230V; DC 12V, 24V
Power AC 26VA, DC 26W
Closing time < 1s
Operation type Continuous (100%)

  • valves utilize process pressure for operation
  • valves operate correctly only if there is a minimum differential pressure ΔPmin on the valve. In case it is smaller than required, valves of this type will not work properly.
  • differential pressure ΔP is needed to open the valve and keep it open,
  • the time of opening and closing the valve depends on the size of this difference
  • due to the small cross-sections of the control channels, they are sensitive to contamination (appropriate filters should be used upstream of them)
  • long actuation time (in some types even up to several seconds)
  • lower lifespan (on average – several hundred of thousand work cycles)
